The Mashburn Scholarship Foundation

We provide financial assistance in the form of college scholarships for high school graduates and full time University of Arkansas students having talent, financial need and a desire to further their education in the fields of vocal music and performing arts.


Full time student at The University of Arkansas. 2.5 cumulative grade point average. Provide financial need. Agree to perform in the Mashburn fundraising concert. Be able to attend ALL practice and events. Agree to an interview and audition each semester. Attend all philanthropy activities in addition to the concerts. Meet dress and behavior requirements set by The Foundation. Take part in leadership conference. Attend financial seminars and etiquette luncheons. Learn study skills and time management. Become goodwill ambassadors who promote positive lifestyles and music.

What does it take to become a Mashburn Scholarship recipient?

Talent Understanding and ability to meet Foundations commitment. Dependability. Leadership potential. A willingness to serve as a role model and mentor. Attitude, maturity, and exemplary morals. Desire to join the Mashburn “music family” in personal presentation, temperament, and spirit of cooperation. Personal development and poise potential. Financial need.
